At this point The Perl Foundation should hire a facilitator. Someone from outside and with experience in conflict solving.

Mr. Larry Wall used to referee on the p5p list more and point out when people were crossing the line. He's been quoted as saying "there ain't nothing in this world worth being a snot over". He's called me out on one of the rare occasions I've posted there. But we've seen a lot less of him as his attention has moved towards Perl 6. The children are left to play unsupervised. I'd post more but I know I don't have the temperament for these things. Trying to communicate online quickly sends my frustration levels through the roof. Historically, this has been a problem. There was the famous showdown of Randal and tchrist that resulted in tchrist leaving. Not sure what can be done but I think more respect for the patch pumpking is in order. Rather than argue with him, whoever it is any go, just take on the job yourself next go if the community will let you. I'd like to see people arguing over who gets to do it rather than arguing over who has to do it.
